This Stage-2 cold air intake system produces 22 horsepower & 40 lbs. x ft. torque for the Jeep Grand Cherokee (WJ) 1999-2004. This system includes a durable 18-gauge, powder-coated heat shield and features a washable reusable conical Pro DRY S air filter for maximum flow. This air filter is constructed with 100% polyurethane, for long life and multiple cleaning cycles. This intake system also features a heat-insulating roto-molded plastic tube that replaces the stock intake tract and directs increased air flow with improved volumetric efficiency for maximum performance. This is a direct bolt-on kit and requires no cutting or drilling on OEM parts.One-Piece Intake Tube: A large mandrel-bent wrinkle-black powder-coated intake tube is used to smoothly direct the increased air flow into the engine for maximum performance.4" 360 Degree Radial Flow Conical Filter: This intake utilizes a 4 IN Pro DRY S performance air filter for maximum flow. This 3-layer progressive, non-oiled cotton gauze air filter provides maximum flow for increased horsepower and torque. Also constructed with 100% polyurethane for long life and multiple cleaning cycles.One-Piece Filter Housing: The air filter is housed in a one-piece, black powder-coated 18-gauge heat shield that keeps warm engine air out for maximum performance. A urethane plug is also included if you wish to completely seal the airbox.High Quality Tube:This system uses a high quality cross-linked polyethylene plastic CAD designed, dyno-tuned, roto-mold intake tube to achieve maximum power gains while maintaining a perfect fit.Massive Performance Air Filter:The Momentum HD is designed around a massive 1,000cfm performance 360 degree radial flow air filter with 10-layers of progressive cotton media providing 99.59% cumulative efficiency (independently tested). The unique air filter to housing interface (patent pending) allows for maximum filter size which increases the available air volume while simplifying the installation process. The air filter is wrapped in reinforced metal providing maximum strength to prevent filter collapse.Premium Hardware:Premium stainless steel T-bolt clamps and a reinforced silicone coupler are used for strength and durability while also providing the most secure installation available.
